EXPLORE BA BE LAKE - Viet Linh Travel

The North East mountainous region gives us the unique opportunity for exploration. It is the least travelled part of the north and often attracts the more hardy travelers to Vietnam desiring to experience some of this remote area. It offers breathtaking scenic views and interesting ethnic tribal minority groups.
Ba Be lakes national park is home to the largest natural fresh water lake system in Vietnam. This beautiful region is a tropical rain forest area covering more than 23,000 hectares which includes waterfalls, rivers, deep valleys, lakes, and caves which make it a picturesque landscape.

Day 1: Ha Noi - Ba Be Lake ( L,D )
Pick up at your hotel and head for Bac Kan, the province of Ba Be Lake. During the 6 hours drive, we will make a stop at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Thai Nguyen city. Take a coffee and rest. We continue our drive and have lunch en route at a local restaurant. Our destination is a small village of the Tay minority situated inside Ba Be National Park. Arrive at our home stay and refresh. Enjoy dinner and talk with our friendly hosts to learn about this interesting culture and way of life. Go to beds for a delightful sleep in a traditional stilt house.
Day 2: Ba Be Lake - Boat & Canoe along the lake ( B,L,D )
After breakfast, we start to discover the imposing beauty of the area on a local hand crafted canoe. Glide along the river, through a pretty cave and onto a powerful waterfall. The whole journey offers great natural scenery and photo opportunities. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. We will then canoe till our hearts' content into Ba Be lakes and its entire majestic ness. Swim on the lake and rest. Finish the day with a light trek through ethnic minority villages. We return to our home stay for dinner. Overnight at the traditional stilt house.
Day 3: Ba Be Lake - Ha Noi ( B,L )
Enjoy a last leisurely walk in the park. We will then check out and return to Ha Noi and end of the trip at your hotel.
