Van Long reserve is on area of 2,643 hectares in seven communes of Gia Vien district. In Van Long forest, there are 457 species of plants, eight of which are listed in Vietnam's Red Book. There are 39 species of animals, including nine precious species such as languor, Tibetan bear, chamois, Loris, and red-face monkey. There are nine reptiles listed in Vietnam's Red Book such as grass-snake, Varna, slow and harmless boas, and gecko.
Day 1: Ha Noi - Cuc Phuong ( L,D )
Depart for Ninh Binh City to visit Hoa Lu ancient citadel. We will then transfer to Cuc Phuong for a visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates, and to the protection of their habitats. After lunch, we continue on to the park central, stop to discover ancient human cave, arrival central park late afternoon, free to walk around the center. Have dinner and overnight at bungalow.
Day 2: Cuc Phuong - Van Long - Kenh Ga - Ha Noi ( B,L )
After breakfast, we will leave Cuc Phuong National Park for Van Long. Take the small boat to visit this "Natural Preserve area". Enjoy the wonderful view similar Ha Long Bay but more serene and ecological. Have a bath in the "Hot Spring" and walk through a green field to visit the Van Trinh Cave. We will return to Ha Noi about 6.00 PM.
